3x3x3 Cube limited to half turns on one axis
Sorry about the name, but I could not come up with a short and witty way to describe what this puzzle is about. A 3x3x3 that can only do 180 degree turns on all faces has already been made by Hidetoshi Takeji and a variant is for sale in Oskar's Shop. A variant where only one axis allows 90 degree turns has also been made.
However, the remaining variant where only one axis is constrained to 180 degree turns has not been made yet. It was of course Andreas Nortmann's request to make one.
This puzzle can be bought as a DIY kit from my puzzle shop. A DIY kit contains just the 3D printed pieces needed to build the puzzle, you will need to supply your own stickers and screws, springs and washers (usually M3 size). For an additional fee, I can sell you an assembled and stickered puzzle.
